Adventures Taylor Made was created by Jewel Marie when she saw a need in Aroostook County for small businesses to increase traffic for their business through photography. 

With a background that extends over the last 30 years, Jewel has used her photography to help businesses, non-profits, and families to tell their stories or preserve their memories through photography. 

Jewel prides herself in action photography and storytelling through the lens of her camera.  

Adventures Taylor Made was created to help increase tourism through photography, marketing, and working with a non-profit on an app that will help increase tourism to Aroostook County and make it easy for those who visit.   This app will help bring visitors to Aroostook County and allow businesses to market their companies.

Because of Jewel’s love for Aroostook County she has been able to find ways to make photography extremely affordable for business and families in Aroostook County.  If you talk with Jewel you will hear her say two things “Rising tides lifts all ships” which goes with her business plan of making photography and marketing affordable for small businesses so that they can grow.  

You will also hear her say “Always leave a heart print larger than your boot print.” This comes from the days when she ran a large animal rescue but has lived her life by those words.  Jewel believes that if we leave our heart print on the things we do it will build roads that others will want to follow.  It will leave impressions that create memories and help build a community that others desire to be a part of.

With her introduction into the County Jewel has spent hours learning about Aroostook County and becoming part of the community.  She is the admin for an adventure group just for women but also has started a few herself because of her passion for adventures in Aroostook County.
